Andrey Shental is a critic, curator and artist based in Berlin. Currently he is writing his PhD in philosophical aesthetics at Goethe University (Frankfurt). He studied film and video at not/nowhere cooperative (London). Using photography, land art and moving image, he delves into the interrelationships between natural and social history, technology and the environment. His artistic practice questions the preconceived notion of humanity’s domination over nature and gives agency to non-human entities.
